Marc Stevens keynote at Security in Times of Surveillance event

Marc Stevens (CWI) was one of the keynote speakers at the Eindhoven Institute for the Protection of Systems and Information (Ei/PSI) event on Security in Times of Surveillance on Friday 8 May 2015. His lecture was entitled 'Need Security Against Digital Signature Forgeries' (sheets online). It can also be seen on a video of Marc Stevens' lecture (under CC BY SA). The event, featuring eight invited talks, which covered both technical and legal aspects, took place at Eindhoven University of Technology. 

Among the other keynote speakers were Adi Shamir (Weizmannn Institute; the 'S' from the RSA encryption standard) on 'What Snowden has taught us about cyber security', Jacob Appelbaum (Tor project, security researcher and a journalist) and Daphne van der Kroft (Bits of Freedom). Marc Stevens worked together with Appelbaum in 2008 on the uncovering of a weakness in Internet security by breaking the MD5 standard.
