On September 14, the kick-off of a new series of events at the Amsterdam health & technology center (AHTC) takes place. Theme of the first event is ‘Smart logistics in healthcare’. CWI's Rob van der Mei will be one of the speakers, as well as Jaap Frank Ponstein, director of Ambulance Amsterdam.
Organizing ambulance services is becoming more and more complex. A city like Amsterdam is making logistics even more challenging. However, thanks to smart technology and data analysis, it is still possible to manage bottlenecks, control costs and stay in charge. How do they do this? And what can other health professionals learn from this?
