CWI invites colleagues from Dutch universities to jointly develop proposals for CWI Research Semester Programmes in 2028-2029. The CWI Research Semester Programmes are an unique opportunity to create time and space to collaborate with colleagues on a topic of relevance to the Dutch mathematics and computer science communities.
The call for proposals has recently been published and is open until 15 December 2026.
CWI Research Semester Programmes entail a coherent set series of activities events over a longer period of time that facilitates joint national research collaborations and brings together scientists on a interesting and new topic. to allow researchers to expand their network for further collaborative initiatives. CWI provides the organizing support staff, PR and a budget for meeting facilities, travel and accommodation. Proposals should be developed in collaboration with a CWI researcher within one of the four CWI research areas:
- Algorithms: Daan Crommelin
- Data and Intelligent Systems: Sander Bohté
- Cryptography and Security: Marc Stevens
- Quantum Computing: Ronald de Wolf
