Festive opening EIT Digital satellite co-location at CWI

On November 2, 2017, EIT Digital and Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), will launch the new Satellite Co-Location Centre of EIT Digital The Netherlands. The Co-Location Centre will be situated at CWI, located at Amsterdam Science Park.

We, Jos Baeten, General Director CWI and Patrick Essers, Node Director EIT Digital The Netherlands, would like to invite you for the festive opening of this new Co-Location Centre. You are very welcome to join us for an inspiring afternoon of Digital Finance on November 2nd.

With the new Co-Location Centre, EIT Digital aims to give momentum to the new Action Line Digital Finance in the Netherlands. Business developers of EIT Digital situated at the Co-Location Centre at CWI will help Dutch FinTech companies to expand their international networks and to raise capital. CWI is already closely involved with many of EIT Digital’s innovation activities.

Peter Penning, IT Manager ING Bank, Willem Jonker, CEO of EIT Digital and Ger Baron, CTO at City of Amsterdam will talk about the opportunities for the financial services sector. Tijs van der Storm, researcher at CWI and professor of Software Engineering at University of Groningen, will speak about a blockchain innovation activity of CWI within EIT Digital.
