CWI has two unique in-house laboratories: the FleX-ray Lab and the Social XR Lab.

Flex-ray Lab

In 2017, CWI founded the FleX-ray CT Lab. With the scanner of this lab, it has been made possible for the first time to look inside objects in 3D during the scanning process and to adjust or zoom in while scanning.

Social XR Lab

The Social XR Lab is a physical space for research and innovation on Extended Reality (XR) and a playground for new technology like capturing, compression, etc.
