The library offers authorized users access to a number of catalogs and databases. Access to licensed databases is limited to CWI employees. The databases can only be used for personal purposes such as study and academic research.

ACM Online Guide to Computing Literature
An indexing and abstracting service to computing literature.

Computing Reviews
It is an ACM reviewing service to computing literature. It includes articles from journals and conference proceedings as well as monographs.

CiteSeerx
A scientific literature digital library and search engine that focuses primarily on the literature in computer and information science.

DBLP (Digital Bibliography & Library Project)
It provides bibliographic information on articles in major computer science scientific journals, conference proceedings and links to homepages of computer scientists.

Jahrbuch Project (1868-1942)
A project providing a digital archive of the most important mathematical publications of the period 1868-1942. The database contains data from the bibliographic serial Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik. The contents of this database has been incorporated into Zentralblatt MATH

Journal Citation Reports (JCR) (supplement to Web of Science)
It is published annually and allows you to evaluate and compare journals using citation data drawn from journals tracked by Web of Science. (Access only from within CWI) 

MathSciNet
An international database on pure and applied mathematics since 1940. It contains bibliographical data and extensive reviews on articles.

Publish or Perish
Publish or Perish is a software program that retrieves and analyses academic citations. It uses Google Scholar to obtain the raw citations, then analyses these and presents the results (e.g. total number of papers and citations, average number of citations per paper, per author and per year, H-index etc.).

PubMed
It provides access to citations for biomedical articles from MEDLINE and life sciences journals. PubMed Central is a free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journals.

Scholarly Electronic Publishing Bibliography
It presents selected English-language articles, books, and other printed and electronic sources that are useful in understanding scholarly electronic publishing efforts on the Internet. Most sources have been published between 1990 and the present.

ScientificCommons
It is a search engine to find open access publications and e-resources. The largely distributed sources with their vast amount of scientific publications can now be searched via just one common interface.

Scopus
A comprehensive indexing and abstracting service since 1966 to literature in the physical, life, health and social sciences. Citations are included since 1996.

Web of Science (Science Citation Index)
An international database containing bibliographical data, abstracts and citations, covering articles since 1988 in all science fields. (Access only from within CWI)

Zentralblatt MATH
An abstracting and reviewing service in pure and applied mathematics as of 1868.
