Distributed learning and prediction modelling in radiation oncology

I will present an overview of my PhD thesis:
- empirical comparisons of machine learning algorithms (classifiers) for radiotherapy treatment outcome prediction,
- a technique to embed simulation models in machine learning algorithms,
- the concept and results of distributed learning studies to train prediction models on multiple (disjoint) databases of oncology institutes spread across Europe/Asia.
