Tianyuan Wang

I received my B.Sc. in Automation from Central South University (中南大学) in China and my M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in Germany. In November 2021, I began my Ph.D. project as part of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITN project, which aims to develop adaptive Computed Tomography (CT) scanning for a robotic CT scanner. During my Master's and Ph.D. studies, I gained experience at various institutions and companies, including Fraunhofer IPT in Aachen, BMW Group in München, Fraunhofer IIS in Fürth, KU Leuven, and Waygate Technologies in Wunstorf. My research interests include sequential experimental design, reinforcement learning, inverse problems, and optimal control.
