CWI's Peter A.N. Bosman, Arkadiy Dushatskiy and Marco Virgolin, together with Leiden University's Thomas Bäck, Anna Kononova and Jacob P. de Nobel, Utrecht University's Dirk Thierens, and VU Amsterdam's Gusz Eiben, proudly present the new Joint Lectures on Evolutionary Algorithms (JoLEA) series: top-quality lectures on EAs that will feature world-renowned speakers, local researchers and PhD students.

JoLEA events will take place approximately every two months and the first lecture is organized on 15-09-2021. PhD candidate Anton Bouter from CWI will talk about Optimal Mixing Evolutionary Algorithms for Large-Scale Real-Valued Optimization, and PhD candidate Roy de Winter from Leiden University will present Constrained Multi-Objective Ship Design Optimization with a Limited budget of Function Evaluations.
