In 2012 the 100th birthday of Alan Turing has been celebrated worldwide. Turing deciphered the Enigma code during World War II and is considered to be founder of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

In 2012 the 100th birthday of Alan Turing has been celebrated worldwide. Turing deciphered the Enigma code during World War II and is considered to be founder of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Paul Klint, one of the organizers of the exhibition "Turing's Heritage" at the Centrum Wiskunde and Informatica  (on until the end of November 2012) will be interviewed in Labyrint, the science program of VPRO. The program will explain the basic ideas of computability and algorithms and explores the implications of Turing's ideas for current and future computers. The interview will be aired on December 5, 20:50, Nederland 2. Immediately after broadcasting the public is invited to talk to the scientists from the episode.
