Testing plays an important role in the development of software-intensive systems like embedded software or railway security systems. On average thirty to sixty percent of the developers' efforts is spent on testing. TT-MEDAL, short for Tests and Testing MEthoDologies with Advanced Languages, aims to improve and facilitate this part of the design process. Among the topics researched are automatic test generation and the reuse of test components.
