This is CWI's first meeting on scientific integrity. This topic lies at the heart of a safe academic work environment.

At CWI, as in all Dutch universities and research institutions, everyone involved in scientific research is responsible for safeguarding scientific integrity. We are expected to do research with integrity, that is in a reliable, honest, careful, transparent and responsible manner.
CWI intends to support all researchers by promoting an open and inclusive environment and a culture in which everyone can work together, and can discuss problems and dilemmas they encounter in their work. The meeting is part of this.

The meeting will start with a short play about scientific integrity, that was performed with success at many universities, and is intended to get our minds going. After that, we will split into two groups, one for postdocs and PhD candidates and the other for senior scientific staff, for further discussion.

At around 17:00 hours, we can continue the discussion more informally with drinks and snacks.
