This is a memorial meeting for Martin Kersten, who regrettably deceased way too early in 2022. The time and place of this meeting coincide with CIDR2023, the Conference on Innovative Data systems Research. The theme of this conference perfectly characterises Martin's research interest and activities. Prior to his illness he participated in every single CIDR, and also gave talks in many of these scientific meetings. We invite everybody who knew Martin professionally and/or amicably to participate. Some people may also want to give a short talk, which can also be light-hearted. After the event, there will be time to chat over some drinks and snacks.

CIDR2023 will draw many international colleagues to Amsterdam, who are welcome to participate in this meeting. But, this remembrance is also open to other people who knew Martin (i.e., it is not required to be registered in CIDR2023 to participate). We do ask everyone who wants to participate, to please register via this form. Hope to see you there!
