Vossius Seminar: Jos Baeten on Adriaan van Wijngaarden

CWI director Jos Baeten will speak at the Vossius Seminar on Adriaan van Wijngaarden and the history of the first computers in the Netherlands. Van Wijngaarden (1916 - 1987), former director of CWI, is considered the founding father of computer science in the Netherlands and was responsible for developing the first computer in the Netherlands in 1952.
