Biography

Ir. Leah Dickhoff is a PhD candidate at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) in collaboration with the Life Sciences and Health Group at CWI. She works on fast, accurate, and insightful brachytherapy treatment planning for cervical cancer through artificial intelligence. L. Dickhoff obtained her MSc degree in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, and her BSc degree in Physics and Informatics at Amsterdam University College. Her bachelor thesis focused on stochastic optimization, and her master thesis on Monte Carlo simulations within charged particle therapy.
