Biography
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Networks & Optimization group at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in Amsterdam, hosted by Guido Schäfer.
My main research interests are combinatorial optimization, optimization under uncertainty and approximation algorithms. In particular, I enjoy working on scheduling problems under uncertainty, and on query minimization problems in the area of explorable uncertainty. One major focus of my research has been to study these problems in settings beyond the worst-case, such as learning-augmented algorithm design.
In 2023, I received my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Bremen in Germany, where I was a PhD student (2019-2023) and postdoctoral researcher (2023-2024) in the Combinatorial Optimization and Logistics group, supervised by Nicole Megow.
