CWI co-hosts SIGIR 2007

The Netherlands have been selected to host SIGIR 2007. SIGIR is the major international conference on information retrieval. The annual event of the Special Interest Group on Information Retrieval of the Association for Computing Machinery presents the latest research and development in this area. CWI researcher Arjen de Vries co-chairs the organization committee, which also includes researchers from TNO-TPD , the University of Amsterdam and the University of Twente.
