Preparing Dutch Manufacturing Companies for the Future
Current geopolitical tensions have placed the strategic autonomy of Dutch and European industry high on the agenda. In a time when digitalization, sustainability, and the energy transition are key pillars of industrial development, it is essential for Dutch manufacturing companies to prepare for the future. Recently, the European Commission presented the new Industrial European Clean Deal, highlighting sustainability, energy efficiency, and digital transformation. In the coming period, both the European Union and the Netherlands will present concrete plans to support Dutch manufacturing companies in their transformation toward a competitive, sustainable, and digitally advanced industry.
Workshops Focused on Industrial Challenges
During the seminar, you can participate in one of five workshops that address major challenges in modern industry. Topics include maintenance, circularity, labor shortages, and energy optimization. The workshops are led by partners of the research group, who will share their expertise and practical experience to explore concrete solutions. Each workshop will conclude with the question of how you can contribute to the development of the research agenda.
Demo Expo: Technology in Action
The second part of the seminar is the demo expo area, where you can experience real-world applications of industrial digital twins and related technologies. Technology providers and industrial companies will showcase their most innovative demonstrators, giving you immediate insight into how these technologies can be applied within your own organization. The expo also offers the opportunity to engage directly with researchers, students, developers, and users.
