Abstract: What does it actually mean to search for architectures and hyperparameters of neural networks? In this talk I will give a general step-by-step explanation of how one solves problems via neural networks, in order to provide the necessary context to our research; having explained the existing process, I'll describe how automatic architecture & hyperparameter can potentially improve it, and what our current research direction is.
