Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) is the national research institute for mathematics and computer science in the Netherlands. We conduct pioneering research in these fields and transfer our results to society.

512-core FPGA Emulator by ExaneSt

In a new EU project MonetDB Solutions helps to showcase the future generation ExaNeSt platform, which consists of up to 10 million of low-cost and low-energy ARM processors. The CWI spin-off will evaluate the platform with extremely compute-intensive big data analytics applications.

Laura Hollink of CWI's Information Access group collaborates with VU, EUR, Beeld & Geluid and DANS in the 'Talk of Europe' project, in which the debates of the European Parliament are published as Linked Open Data.


The online accessible database of the plenary meetings include translations in 22 languages, all participants, the countries they represent and the national and European parties and committees they are a member of.
