Biography

Svetlana Dubinkina is an application-driven mathematician. Her research interests include paleoclimate, subsurface flow, pipe flow, data assimilation, inverse problems, numerical methods, and statistical mechanics. She has worked at Lavrentyev Institute of Hydrodynamics (Russia), CWI, UCL (Belgium), and UU. She has graduated from Novosibirsk State University (B.Sc. and M.Sc. with honours) and University of Amsterdam (Ph.D.).
