Biography

Since November 2019, Luis Felipe Vargas is a PhD student in the Networks and Optimization Group at CWI under the supervision of Monique Laurent. Before that he obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematics from Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia. His research at CWI is focused on semidefinite approximations for graph parameters. His PhD is a part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network POEMA: Polynomial Optimization, Efficiency through Moments and Algebra.
