Evi Sijben

Biography

Evi Sijben did a Bachelor in Computing Science at the Radboud University in Nijmegen (2014-2018). She continued her studies with a master in Computing Science with specialization Data Science also at the Radboud University (2018-2020). Her master thesis was about Shapley values, a method for explaining predictions, and how to use the causal knowledge about the variables when doing so. She started in February 2021 as a PhD student at CWI (in collaboration with LUMC) where she researches the use of evolutionary algorithms to make transparent, reliable and unbiased predictions in health-care.
