Ajinkya Kadu

Biography

Ajinkya Kadu received his Bachelors and Masters in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in Mumbai, India in 2015. Immediately, he joined as a PhD student at the Utrecht University under the supervision of Dr. Tristan van Leeuwen, Prof. Wim Mulder (TU Delft/Shell) and Prof. K. Joost Batenburg (CWI). He was part of Computational Science for Energy Research (CSER) project, a joint collaboration of NWO with Shell Global Solutions. He defended his PhD thesis 'Discrete Seismic Tomography' on December 16, 2019. From Dec 2019 to July 2020, he was a post-doctoral researcher at Utrecht University on NWO-XS project. Ajinkya Kadu is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Computational Imaging group at CWI. He works on 'dynamic electron tomography' project with Prof. Joost Batenburg (CWI/ULeiden) and Prof. Sara Bals (Antwerp University).
