This year’s edition of the CWI in Business revolves around Secure Multiparty Computation (MPC) and is organized in cooperation with TNO. During this event, we will give a scientific overview of the field, and present a number of use cases that were solved by means of MPC. We will touch on the entire spectrum from fundamental and applied research to applications and spin-offs.

The Dutch Seminar on Optimization is an initiative to bring together researchers from the Netherlands and beyond, with topics that are centered around Optimization in a broad sense. We would like to invite all researchers, especially also PhD students, who are working on related topics to join the events. This lecture will be given by Samuel Fiorini (Université libre de Bruxelles) and is entitled "Integer programs with bounded subdeterminants and two nonzeros per row".
