Biography

I am a postdoc researcher in the Networks & Optimization group. I am working on a Veni project entitled 'New frontiers in numerical nonlinear algebra'. My research is on nonlinear equations, their applications in the sciences and numerical methods for solving them. I am particularly interested in the role of toric (and tropical) geometry in equation solving, and in applications like optimization and particle physics.
