AtoZ eResources title list
It provides a comprehensive list of all full text digital resources available to people working within the CWI domain, i.e. e-journals, e-books, e-proceedings, including open access journals. The resources are indexed on titles. If you would like to find articles within the journals or conference proceedings please refer to the bibliographical databases.
Unfortunately it is not possible to access licensed resources from home via this list.

ACM Portal, including ACM Digital Library and ACM Guide to Computing Literature
Contains all ACM periodicals (as of volume 1) and proceedings.

American Mathematical Society (AMS) journals
Contains all journals published by the AMS. Some journals only have the past 5 years available on this site. Older issues are available via JSTOR.

ArXiv
Electronic preprints in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Biology and Statistics

Cambridge University Press
Contains Science & Technology journals published by the Cambridge University Press - in principle as of 1997 or later subject to availability.

Digitized (historical) computer science and mathematics books on the Web
Several projects digitizing mathematical books which are no longer subject to copyright

Elsevier ScienceDirect
Contains the journals which are included in the subject collections Computer Science and Mathematics. Most journals are available as of volume 1. It also contains journals from outside the subject collections, the so called Freedom Collection. These are journals from all subject collections instead of only mathematics and computer science. Most of these journals are available as of 2009.

IEEE-Computer Society Digital Library
Contains all the journal and proceedings published by IEEE-CS.

IOS Press
Contains all journals published by IOS Press.

JSTOR: Business and Mathematics & Statistics collection
Contains an archive of approximately 90 journals according to a moving wall principle. The last 3-5 years are not available.

Mary Ann Liebert
Contains all journals published by Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. as of volume 1.

Oxford University Press
Contains all journals published by the Oxford University Press - mostly as of 1996.
eBooks in the subject fields Mathematics and Physics are also available.

SIAM Publications Online
Contains all SIAM journals as of volume 1. All SIAM books as of 2011 are available as eBooks. In addition a selection of older titles is also available.

SpringerLink
Contains approximately 1700 current periodicals on all subjects, whenever available as of volume 1, with the exception of journals published by CMG and Humana Press. As of 2011 the so-called transfer titles are not automatically accessible. The serials Lecture Notes in Computer Science, Lecture Notes in Mathematics, Lecture Notes in Physics and Lecture Notes in Control and Information Science are also available.
In addition, as of 2005 a collection of e-books and e-references are also accessible in the subject fields Computer Science, Mathematics & Statistics, Engineering and Physics & Astronomy.
Prior to 2005 a limited collection is available.

Walter de Gruyter
Contains nearly all journals published by Walter de Gruyter - in principle as of 1998 or later subject to availability. Accessible journals are indicated by the green check mark.

Wiley Online Library
Contains nearly 1000 current periodicals on all subjects; mostly as of 1997.

The CWI library offers access to a number of catalogs and databases. Access to licensed databases is limited to CWI employees. The databases can only be used for personal purposes such as study and academic research.

ACM Online Guide to Computing Literature
An indexing and abstracting service to computing literature.

Computing Reviews
It is an ACM reviewing service to computing literature. It includes articles from journals and conference proceedings as well as monographs.

CiteSeerx
A scientific literature digital library and search engine that focuses primarily on the literature in computer and information science.

DBLP (Digital Bibliography & Library Project)
It provides bibliographic information on articles in major computer science scientific journals, conference proceedings and links to homepages of computer scientists.

Jahrbuch Project (1868-1942)
A project providing a digital archive of the most important mathematical publications of the period 1868-1942. The database contains data from the bibliographic serial Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik. The contents of this database has been incorporated into Zentralblatt MATH

Journal Citation Reports (JCR) (supplement to Web of Science)
It is published annually and allows you to evaluate and compare journals using citation data drawn from journals tracked by Web of Science. (Access only from within CWI) 

MathSciNet
An international database on pure and applied mathematics since 1940. It contains bibliographical data and extensive reviews on articles.

Publish or Perish
Publish or Perish is a software program that retrieves and analyses academic citations. It uses Google Scholar to obtain the raw citations, then analyses these and presents the results (e.g. total number of papers and citations, average number of citations per paper, per author and per year, H-index etc.).

PubMed
It provides access to citations for biomedical articles from MEDLINE and life sciences journals. PubMed Central is a free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journals.

Scholarly Electronic Publishing Bibliography
It presents selected English-language articles, books, and other printed and electronic sources that are useful in understanding scholarly electronic publishing efforts on the Internet. Most sources have been published between 1990 and the present.

ScientificCommons
It is a search engine to find open access publications and e-resources. The largely distributed sources with their vast amount of scientific publications can now be searched via just one common interface.

Scopus
A comprehensive indexing and abstracting service since 1966 to literature in the physical, life, health and social sciences. Citations are included since 1996.

Web of Science (Science Citation Index)
An international database containing bibliographical data, abstracts and citations, covering articles since 1988 in all science fields. (Access only from within CWI)

Zentralblatt MATH
An abstracting and reviewing service in pure and applied mathematics as of 1868.
