Smart Energy Systems: European Virtual Smart Grid Laboratory
Project code: Smart Energy Systems: European Virtual Smart Grid Laboratory
Research group: Multi-agent and Adaptive Computation (SEN4)
Project coordinator: Han La Poutré
The ultimate goal of this project is to create an EIT excellence
network of Smart Grid labs and demonstrators building up an "Smart
Energy Systems: European Smart Grid laboratory". The European Smart
Grid Laboratory is supposed to become one of the major visible results
of SES in EIT ICT Labs. It will form an environment for joint
activities with all interested partners within all ERB areas. The
network will be the physical location for testing new ideas and
business models from the technical point of view. Potential
entrepreneurs will be invited to run proof of concept experiments
within the network. University spin offs will be strongly encouraged,
eventually also using other EIT instruments like coaching, mentoring
and business clubs. The project is carried out within EIT ICT Labs, as
a Testbeds project.
