Research
I examine market-based approaches to tackle the uncertainty for decentralised players in the domain of smart grids and energy systems. Currently, the uptake of intermittent generation and market liberalisation in electricity systems poses new challenges and opportunities. Agent-based markets in smart grids are an important approach to address them.
Three projects that I work on:
As a contemporary observer, I am interested in the dynamic interoperability of our energy systems and how they change as we speak. I comment on the most interesting developments in a dedicated blog.
