The department Projects, Finance & Control (PFC) is responsible for the financial accounting, internal control and external reporting of CWI and some closely related external organizations. The Financial Administration (FA, a separate subdivision with its own head) performs these tasks.

PFC is also responsible for support and advice on the acquisition of external research projects, their control and administration. The project staff carries out this activity. The project staff ensures financially healthy project proposals and during the project period the administrative reporting and control are taken care of.
