Open Access portal
Open Access is a new paradigm in scholarly publishing. It aims to promote publishing models that ensure free and unrestricted access to research articles. It is the immediate, online, free availability of research outputs without the severe restrictions commonly imposed by publisher copyright agreements. It provides the means to maximise visibility, and thus the uptake and use, of research outputs. It concerns the outputs that scholars normally give away for free to be published: peer-reviewed journal articles, conference papers and datasets of various kinds.
According to recent studies publishing open access will increase the impact of your articles.

From Monday 28 November the CWI Repository will be run in a new system [https://ir.cwi.nl/] where uploading your publications will be much easier. Click on 'Submitting your work' at the bottom of the page for new uploads, if you have a DOI or arXiv number the details will be automatically filled in for you.
The current system will be discontinued from Friday 25 November. This weekend it is not possible to upload publications.
In the coming few weeks we will be working to improve the system and will be very glad to have your feedback. Please use the feedback button at the bottom of the page, or send a message to Wouter [firstname.lastname@example.org] or Vera [email@example.com].
