Contents Alerting Services: databases
The databases below feature the service to save a search and have it rerun automatically when databases are updated, with the results emailed to you.

2. During your sessions you can then set up several alerts:- Search alerts which send new results from a previous search directly to you by e-mail.
- Document citation alerts which notify you when an article you specify is cited by another article.

In your preferences you can save a search history as an alert, which will deliver search results to you each week by e-mail. Details
Contents Alerting Services: publishers
Most publishers offer the service to send you the tables of contents of your favourite journals. For this service it is compulsory to register at these publishers. The mandatory fields at these registrations differ per publisher. Often, you will have to log in, using a username and password.
Various publishers also offer RSS feeds

If you are not yet registered at ACM, you can do so on top of the screen:

Next, you go to 'Digital Library', and then further to 'TOC Service'.
Mandatory fields: title, first name, last name, address, post/zip code, country, town/city, email. - Cambridge University Press
Go to your favourite journal, on the top right hand side click on 'New Content Alerts'. You will need to register first. - Elsevier (Science Direct)
Go to your favourite journal, click on the 'Alerts' tab. You need to register.
Mandatory fields: title, first name, last name, email, town/city, country. - IEEE
Mandatory fields: name, email.
Please note that CWI does not have full text access to all journals, only to those of the IEEE Computer Society. For an alerting service of their journals, please go to your favourite journal and sign up for RSS service. - Oxford University Press
From the journal homepage, select 'Email table of contents' (right column).

Complete this webpage and indicate your favourite journal(s). - Springer
Go to your favourite journal. On the top right hand side click on Register for TOC Alerting. Then fill in your e-mail address. - Taylor and Francis
Choose 'Email Contents Alerting'. Various links will lead you to the 'Register page'.
