Workshop: Science & the Energy Challenge on Offshore Wind

The goal of the workshop is to discuss the long-term scientific challenges in offshore wind energy. The European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE) has made a European overview of the challenges, to be presented later this year. This workshop will give a preview of these fundamental questions and you will get the opportunity to translate them to the strengths of the Dutch research environment. Five topics of the EAWE overview, relevant to the Dutch sector, have been selected for this first part of the workshop series. These topics will be introduced by the editors of the EAWE report, after which there will be ample time to discuss them. This will be an excellent opportunity to connect to the multi-disciplinary network of energy researchers involved in offshore wind energy. The workshop is organized by the National Center for Mathematics and Computer Science (CWI), Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), and TKI Offshore Wind (TKI-WoZ).
