Paul Klint (CWI and UvA) will give a lecture about Open Source and Starters during the National ICT Event in Media Plaza (Utrecht) on 18 May. What is the origin of the concept of 'free' and 'open' software? Is it possible to measure the quality of open source software, and how to select the best system? Paul Klint has some practical suggestions for start-up companies.
