Afternoon Symposium on Energy, Uncertainty & Computation
Within the energy sector there is an increasing need to combine numerical software with stochastic models, for example, to deal with uncertainties in energy supply and demand, variability in natural resources such as wind, sunlight, or geological substructure, as well as for making prudent business decisions for investing in new technologies.
In this symposium, speakers from industrial and academic settings will
discuss their applications in more detail.
