Distributed and Interactive Systems
The continued convergence of digital media production and distribution devices presents a host of new problems related to the creating, distribution, adaptation and rendering of multimedia on a range of dissimilar devices. This pilot group studies fundamental problems related to media distribution and modelling (in the BRICKS PDC-3 project), media encoding and creating (in the Passepartout project) and platform agnostic distribution (in the Ambulant project).
