Multimedia Authoring Systems
Project name: Multimedia Authoring Systems
Research group: Interactive Information Access (INS2)
Coordinator of this project: Dick Bulterman
Based on CWI's CMIFed authoring system, durable, professional-quality multimedia documents are defined, which are quickly and easily adaptable to new environments, under control of the document's content owner, and research into system-level support for adaptive documents is conducted. Particular attention is paid to the author-controlled synchronisation of independent data streams for presentation on heterogeneous (networked) user workstations.
