Interactive Information Access cooperation
Key publications of research group Interactive Information Access.
On the European level, we currently participate in the ITEA Jules Verne project Passepartout, and the K-Space and DELOS networks of excellence. On the national level, we participate in the ToKeN2000 CHIME and I2RP, NWO NASH and the BSIK MultimediaN projects.
In addition to our project partners, we cooporate closely with:
- Stefanos Kollias's Image, Video and Multimedia Systems Lab (IVML) at NTUA, Athens, Greece.
- Jane Hunter's MAENAD project at DSTC, Queensland, Australia
- Marc Davis's Garage Cinema Group at Berkeley, and Yahoo! Research Berkeley in the USA
- Patrick Schmitz's Ludicrum Enterprises Research
We participate in the W3C Semantic Web Best Practices and Deployment Working Group. In the past, our group has been heavily involved with W3C SYMM Working Group that developed SMIL. Other examples of recent international projects include the IST/W3C Question How project and the Eureka/ITEA RTIPA project.
Members of the theme are also associated with SIKS, the Dutch research school for Information and Knowledge Systems.
