Multi-query Optimalisatie voor Data Mining Toepassingen
Project code: Conquer
Research group: Database Architectures and Information Access (INS1)
Project coodinator: Arjan Pellenkoft
The lack of a 'multi-query optimizer' which is specially designed for data mining applications is one of the most important white spots in the area of databases. Such an optimizer will improve the usability of data mining in a business context on large databases. The more efficient processing of queries, due to optimizing, brings data mining to a more interactive level on a HPCN platform. Realizing and evaluating such an optimizer in order to apply it in a real data mining product is the focus of the project.
